With the ground, and its foothold, slowly eroding around it, this tree’s days are numbered.  Appearing like a Triffid this Lone Tree stands over an eroded mound on the 'Walls of China' at Lake Mungo erodes and reveals its remarkable history, the process can be detrimental to the flora that holds it together as plants lose the precarious footholds they have. The forms are visually striking though; wonderful textures, lines and tones are wonderful subjects to photograph.
